Crystallized honey of a light colour, from white to straw yellow to beige. The scent recalls the fresh fragrance of orange blossom flowers, the aroma of citrus peel, while the taste is fruity and slightly acidic. With time it is loaded with marine notes.

La melata è una sostanza zuccherina prodotta da insetti che succhiano la linfa delle piante quali abete rosso, pino, quercia, tiglio, acero e alberi di agrumi. Tutte le melate sono di colore ambrato, e il profumo è leggermente affumicato, di legno umido, muschio e tabacco. La melata è rinomata per l'integrità degli oligoelementi, risultando meno dolce al palato.
Honeydew is a sugary substance produced by insects that suck the sap of plants such as fir tree, pine, oak, linde, maple and citrus trees . All honeydew are amber coloured, with a slightly smoky, moist wood, musk and tobacco scent. Honeydew is renowned for the integrity of its trace elements, making it taste less sweet.

La sulla, dal latino hedysarium coronarium, è una pianta foraggera della famiglia delle leguminose. Fiorisce verso fine primavera, e il fiore è di un rosso acceso.
